Why is the brand called Eascaper?
Eascaper = ease + escape. A name made for sunshine, spontaneity and stress-free getaways (even if it’s just the backyard).

What does UPF 50+ mean?
UPF 50+ is the highest rating under AS/NZS 4399:2017, meaning the fabric blocks at least 98% of UV radiation.

Do kids need sunscreen when wearing an Eascaper jacket?
Our jackets are not able to provide total sun protection as they will only cover and help protect arms, neck and torso. Exposed areas like face, legs and hands will not have adequate protection without use of sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and shade. We recommend using sun protection clothing in combination with the above measures for the best sun protection.

Will the jackets feel too hot in summer?
On hot days, kids will feel the heat — regardless of what they wear. Our bamboo-blend fabric feels soft and helps keep them comfortable while offering sun protection. But in all honesty, our jackets are best for everyday wear and we do not recommend being outside for too long on days of extreme heat!

Are they machine washable?
Absolutely. Durable and parent-friendly. Machine wash cold, hang dry. No bleach.

Eascaper jackets are made with UPF 50+ fabric tested to AS/NZS 4399:2017. The ARPANSA UPF 50+ rating is for the fabric only and excludes the elastic trims. While they provide excellent protection for the areas they cover, no clothing offers complete protection from UV radiation and not all areas of the body will be covered with the use of our jackets.
