Got Questions? We've Got You Covered.

What exactly is this Bamboo blend? Is it comfortable?

It’s our secret sauce for stopping the long sleeve whine. It’s an ultra soft, breathable blend designed to feel like pyjamas. Our fabric is a blend of bamboo, cotton and a touch of elastane because it gives you the best of everything:

Supreme Softness: The bamboo makes it lightweight and incredibly gentle on the skin.

Perfect Stretch: The elastane allows for flexible movement without the garment ever feeling restrictive.

Breathable: It’s naturally cooling, making it comfortable for active kids and those deceptive coastal days.

Will my child overheat in an Eascaper sun hoodie or collared top on a warm day?

We’re parents in Australia, so we get it. No sun safe garment is designed for extreme, peak summer heat (think 40°C). If it’s truly scorching, stay inside!

However, our bamboo blend is highly breathable and significantly cooler than synthetic rash guards. It’s perfect for:

- Breezy beach days (when the wind is deceptive).

- Cloudy or 'shoulder season' weather (spring/autumn UV).

- When moving between indoors/outdoors (travel, playground play dates, etc).

It blocks the sun's heat from hitting the covered skin, which often feels cooler than bare skin in direct sun.

Do kids need sunscreen when wearing an Eascaper sun hoodie or collared top?

Our tops cover the arms and torso — the biggest “oops, I forgot sunscreen” zones. But for full protection, sunscreen, hats, sunnies and shade are still must-haves.

Eascaper tops are your teammate, not your replacement for sunscreen.

What does UPF 50+ mean?

It’s the highest rating under AS/NZS 4399:2017. In simple terms: the fabric blocks at least 98% of UV radiation.

Sun smart without the fuss.

Are they machine washable?

Absolutely. They’re built for real family life.

Machine wash cold, hang to dry. Skip the bleach.

Why is the brand called Eascaper?

Eascaper = ease + escape.

It’s all about carefree sunshine moments, spontaneous park runs and stress free getaways (even if it's just the backyard).
